MAGNETICALLY DRIVEN PUMPS

Magnetically Driven pumps are Sealless pumps in both Centrifugal and Positive Displacement designs. These pumps are designed where there is a need to contain toxic, dangerous, valuable or difficult to seal fluids. The pressurized liquid end or primary containment chamber are sealed by static o-rings or gaskets. The power that is required to rotate the inner magnet and engage pumping is done by transmitting magnetic force from an outer drive magnet, which is connected to a motor, through the containment shell.
